There are two, 5-day live workshops that are delivered by Cisco certified instructors who are seasoned CCIE Routing and Switching professionals. These live workshops are part of a blended learning curriculum that aids learners in preparation for the CCIE Routing and Switching Lab Exam. The materials are aligned to the most current CCIE Routing and Switching certification and have been designed according to a set of formal learning objectives. Depending on the Learning Partner, the workshops can be delivered in person or virtually (remotely).
CIERS1 Workshop 1 (Figure 3) is a blend of technology instruction and hands-on lab classroom experience targeted at CCIE students in the early or middle stages of their studies. The workshop covers the breadth of technologies covered on the CCIE Routing and Switching exam and teaches students how to use an efficient problem-solving process, which includes options analysis.
The workshop includes two, 8-hour Performance Assessments consisting of Configuration and Troubleshooting sections. Each assessment lab is graded and returned with the detailed answer key and Mentor Guide feedback. A Pre-Assessment Lab, a Configuration Assessment Lab CA12 and a Diagnostic Assessment Lab DIAG01 are included with the workshop for scheduling outside of the class.

CIERS2 Workshop 2 (Figure 4) is an extensive hands-on lab practice targeted at students in the final stages of the CCIE preparation. The workshop teaches students how apply various troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques, how to manage time allocation, how to optimize resources during the lab. The workshop also includes five performance assessments which include Troubleshooting, Configuration and Diagnostic sections. Each assessment lab is graded and returned with detailed answer key and the Mentor Guide feedback. A Pre-Assessment Lab, included with the workshop, may be taken before or after the class.
Live instruction offers an opportunity for class discussion and professional collaboration.
Each workshop includes full scale hands-on virtual labs that contain configuration, troubleshooting and diagnostic scenarios.
Labs are delivered on the same virtual platform as the CCIE Routing and Switching exam.
Content and complexity of labs is aligned to the CCIE Routing and Switching exam.
All instructors are Cisco certified as well as seasoned CCIE Routing and Switching professionals.
