Robert Burns – Robert Burns is a Technical Leader in the ACI Solution Support team with 16 years professional experience specializing in datacenter products & technologies. As a technical leader Robert is responsible for assisting with customer support issues, mentoring new team members, improving the Cisco customer support experience and contributing to Cisco certification tracks. Highlighted career certifications held by Robert include Datacenter CCIE, Microsoft MCSE and VMware VCP. Robert has presented at CiscoLive in the US, Mexico, Australia and Canada making this his 6th year presenting.
Mike Brown – Michael Brown is a Technical Leader in the ACI Solution Support team with 17 years of Cisco experience specializing in datacenter products & technologies. As a technical leader Michael is responsible for assisting with customer escalated support issues, mentoring new team members, improving the Cisco customer support experience and contributing to Cisco certification tracks. Highlighted career certifications held by Michael include Storage and SNA/IP CCIEs, SNIA level I, II and III certifications.
Faraz Taifehesmatian – Faraz is a Customer Support Engineer in the ACI Solution Support team in San Jose. Prior to that, he was with the Routing Protocols team in San Jose TAC. Faraz has an Electrical Engineering degree from University of California Davis and he started his career with Cisco as a CO-OP in San Jose back in 2010. Faraz got a CCIE in Routing and Switching.
Leigh Pember – Leigh Pember is a Customer Support Engineer with the ACI Solution Support team. He earned his CCNA R&S within his first two months at Cisco before becoming one of the first ACI case-taking team members. He responsible for working on customer support issues, contributing to the ACI knowledge base, and ensuring Cisco’s products get better everyday through defect logging and tracking. His areas of focus include network virtualization, ACI programmability, and L4-L7 Services.
Zach Seils – Zach Seils is a Technical Leader in the Technical Assistance Center (TAC), responsible for global emerging technology readiness, product serviceability, and critical account support. In addition to working closely with customers and partners, Zach is directly engaged with various Cisco business units on product enhancements, early field trials, and new product architectures. Zach is currently focused on Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) technologies and prototyping next-generation case automation and analysis tools.
Ramses Smeyers – Ramses is a technical leader in Cisco Technical Services where he works in the Datacenter Solutions support team. His main job consists of supporting customers to implement and manage ACI, Cisco UCS, FlexPOD, vBlock, VDI and VXI infrastructures. He has a very strong background in computing, networking and storage and has 10+ years of experience deploying enterprise and service provider datacenter solutions. Relevant certifications include VMware VCDX, Cisco CCIE Voice, CCIE Data Center and RHCE.
Garland Eastman – Garland Eastman is a Customer Support Engineer in the ACI Solution Support team. Garland Eastman is a Graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in Computational Science and Engineering. Garland focused his research in Entity Resolution and Big Data issues. As a customer support engineer Garland Is a part of awarding winning TAC organization and is responsible for solving issues and filing bugs that customers might encounter. Garland has experience programming and creating applications with the REST API and the Cobra SDK. Garland holds his CCNA, CCNA Security and his CCNA Data Center. This is Garland’s first year at Cisco Systems.
Robert Correiro – Robert Correiro is a Customer Support Engineer with the ACI Solutions Support team in the Technical Assistance Center (TAC). He is responsible for working closely with customers to troubleshoot ACI issues, delivering ACI Jumpstart training sessions, and improving the ACI product through documentation and knowledge sharing. Robert has a Computer Science degree from the University of Miami and earned his CCNA R&S shortly after joining Cisco. His interests include developing programs to assist with ACI troubleshooting and analysis.
Joey Ristaino – Joey is a Customer Support Engineer in the ACI Solution Support team in RTP. Prior to that, he was the Server Virtualization TAC lead, and has been working with Cisco for almost 4 years with all of that time dedicated to customer support and product serviceability. After graduating from WentWorth Institute of Technology in Boston, Joey moved to RTP to join Cisco where he obtained his VMware VCP5 and Datacenter CCIE certifications. While customer support is most critical, Joey also helps to mentor team members and absorb as much as he can about the technologies he supports.
Gabriel Monroy – Gabriel is a Customer Support Engineer within the ACI Solution Support team out of San Jose. His previous experience includes working on the Server Virtualization Team supporting UCS and its included protocols. He has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is currently working on his Masters of Information Systems at Santa Clara University. His recent focus is in regards to the programmability aspects of ACI, with an emphasis on understanding the underlying object model and mapping it to various configurations. His most recent career highlights include getting a CCIE in Data Center and getting the ACI How-To series off the ground.
Daniel Pita – Daniel is a Customer Support Engineer with many years of background configuring, troubleshooting, and incubating ACI under the Technical Services Incubation team and since FCS, with the ACI TAC team. Hired as a college new hire after completing his Masters of Science degree in Telecommunications and Network Engineering from Florida International University. Daniel has since been on rotation with the Engineering and QA teams for ACI, provided numerous training courses internally and externally and solved many cases. Currently, Daniel has moved on to Cloud and Network Services Incubation for ACI under Advanced Services. Daniel is CCIE: Data Center certified.
Venkat Naveen Chapa – Naveen started working as customer support engineer in RTP ACI solution support about a year ago. Prior to joining ACI solution support he worked in Nephelo as a software engineer where he deployed openstack private and public clouds to migrate current 4G LTE technology to cloud. He moved to RTP soon after graduating from Wichita State University in Kansas. While pursuing masters Naveen got his CCNA certification and got his CCNP while working in Nephelo. His interests include multiple cloud integrations with ACI such as SVCMM, IBM cloud orchestration. He enjoys helping others and learns something from every one.
