I am wondering if a CCIE will replace the CCDA under the prerequisites for CCDP. It is not listed under the syllabus, but when I look at the
certification progress, it shows completed for the A: section due to my CCIE. is this proper thinking? I know the IE is listed as a prerequisites for other Professional level certs, but not on the CCDP, but it seems like it is.
I was also wondering about the pre-req's.. I am currently CCIE Written in R&S & want to do the CCDP. Is this possible? I have a CCNA also, due to my experience in IT I bypassed CCNP to go straight to CCIE as you know is possible. Ciscos site says for some certs that the Written is acceptable but on the CCDP page its not so clear whether its a full-blown CCIE with lab or if the Written will suffice..
Can you help in answering this?
"CCIE Written" is not a certification. So by the points laid out of valid requirements, you would need to be a full-blown CCIE in order to have that count.
