Slow.... Mine is going very slow. Its not that I am lacking motivation, just time. I have finished CUWSS and IAUWS. Still need to do IUWMS and IUWVN. I am currently studying IUWMS now. I think the quick ref guides are a good baseline. I passed CUWSS with it. Had to dig into the cisco docs for IAUWS a little bit, but the quick ref guide was still very helpful. Experience may be a plus as well, especially if you are running WCS and 7.0 code.
The quick reference guide for IAUWS is excellent and helped me a lot in preparing for the test which i completed successfully a couple of weeks ago. Right now I'm studying for CUWSS with the ref guide and it also seems to be a good source. The writing is short and pregnant but easy to understand. I guess that most topics from the test are covered.
That's great to hear! I bought the first version of iauws in 2012 right after I finished the ccna-w. Then life got in the way, and CIsco updated before I was ready to test. Is Jerome's writing that much better than the original?
I have taken a Class from Jerome and I will vouch for anything he writes. I took the old CUWSS and the old IAUWS before the change, so I have not seen the new IAUWS.
I am working on IUWMS and again, its very slow because, as you put it, life has been in the way for quite some time. However, I really want to get these last 2 tests out of the way and move on to security and design.
If I can help organize a group study session via webex I'd be happy to help. Just let me know a day and time and I'll create a session... If it helps.
I like that idea. The challenge in that will be the fact that there are 4 CCNP Wireless exams and every one of us may be studying for a different exam. Maybe we should do some type of roll call and find out what tests people are studying for.
I am currently working on IUWMS.
Not sure if it is much better, but the IAUWS v2.0 exam changed a bit from IAUWS v1.0, so at least I am sure we cover all that you may face in the exam (would you remember each word of the quick reference, of course huhu)
I like that idea too. I'm leaning toward IUWMS to get it out the way, and I think my company is willing to foot the bill for that class
I did take the class and have the offical courseware, but never had the time to do a good review and take the test. It was a good class, but kinda rushed and I was at work taking an online version, so I was interrupted a lot.
If you're game, lets hit IUWMS.
