Hie Rigo

l wrote my QoS 642-642 back in May 2008 and it was being renewed upto now through other exams l was taking. The problem is now that it is the only one missing without a blue dot for me to get my ccip cert. l understand this exam have not been changed even the name and is still valid to use for certification, l even got CCNP Voice(CCVP) with the exam.

Please help, do l have to reseat the exam again which l believe is stil the same in every sense including the name because of renaming strategy being done by Cisco?

Thank you.

    Hi macd,

That is not correct. Exams (unlike certifications) cannot be extended. Your QoS result expired in May 2011 and since then cannot be applied to get any certification.

Yes you have to take and pass it again.

because of renaming strategy being done by Cisco?

No, that's because Professional level exam results are valid for 3 years.
