Hi all,

I would like to begin studying for CCNP Route exam . I am curious what books/materials those who have passed it recently used to study. I see alot of the books including the official guide were published two years ago.

What books would you recommend ?

    Either Foundation Learning or Official Cert library  will do for Route exam;

    One by W. Odom comes with dvd-rom and practice test; so there is more value for your $.

    For other certs, you should use both books; read Foundation first, then Official leaning library.  that is recommendation from cisco.

    You can also get the CCNP Route Lab Manual. It is full of exercises and labs you can set up and experiment with in GNS. I found it really good, especially on tunneling and IPv6.

    My order was:

    Foundation Guide

    Lab Manual

    Wendell Odom
