Well after nearly 12 months of putting the switch exam off it's been booked for the end of April.
Difficult really as work and family have dictated when I can or can't study but have decided that this year i'll get my CCNP and perhaps CCDA/CCDP i think that will be me for a while.
I would love to go for the CCIE lab but most companys won't pay for this so I may go for the CCIE written in early 2013.
I have been working with cisco products for several years in fact since 1997 and feel that they are part of my family sounds abit strange but I haven't really working on any other vendors equipment.
Perperation for the switch exam has only been reading the foundation book which is easy to read and also using packet tracer etc.. for labs.
I can remember the days before vlans.
I'll post the outcome of the exam. Pass\Fail.
Good luck on your exam later this month!

Good luck. when I took it I wasn't prepared at all, and wasted some money. I have to retake my ccna, and they I will be back on this exam. I just invested some money into two 3550 emi switches so I can master switching.
