I am just about to start study for my MPLS exam and i am wondering what material is good for studying, i have purchased the Cisco Press MPLS Fundamentals self study guide but am wondering if there is anything else that i should be using as prep for the exam....??
Im also trying to find suitable LAB material that is not only useful for the exam but maybe a bit more past this level.... i.e. to a CCIE level labs...?? Does anyone have any ideas or can direct me to LAB links??
Anything you can advise of would be greatly appreciated...
MPLS Fundamentals is good enough for CCIP and probably CCIE R&S. You should pick up MPLS and VPN Architectures Vol. II if you want to go on to the CCIE SP level. Definitive MPLS Network Design is also a good book but I don't think it's strictly necessary for CCIP or CCIE.
Edited to add: MPLS-Enabled Applications (3rd Ed.) is also a really good MPLS book that isn't by Cisco Press.
Thanks for the updates, i actually have also picked up the MPLS and VPN Architectures Vol. II book aswell and will give this a go at some point. Im not sure if im going down the CCIE SP route as yet but im doing my CCIP as more of a knowledge gap fill between CCNP material and whats on the CCIE R & S track so will go through the MPLS Fundamentals and also try and find LAB material......
Do you have any good useful LAB Material that is suitable for a MPLS CCIP level?
