I just completed CCNP route and working on switch. i'm not finding official study guide that much of help. It looks like "implementing cisco ip switched network foundation learning guide by Richard Froom" covers all the topics for exam. i'm going to buy 2 access layer and 2 multilayer switches for lab and a lab manual from cisco.
Any suggestions for the book?.
I'm studying for the ccnp route right now so I picked up the portable command guide, It's fantastic. here's a link to the switch portable guide, Hope this helps
Thanks for the link Patrick. i'm also using

Two oldies but goodies are:

Interconnections: Bridges, Routers, Switches, and Internetworking Protocols by Radia Perlman -
Radia Perlman wrote the actual Spanning Tree Protocol algorithm, which is a large focus of how Ethernet switching works.
