          Hi Saleem,

Welcome to the Cisco Learning Network!

To achieve the CCNP certification, you will need to fulfill the pre-requisite requirement (valid CCNA certification OR any valid CCIE can act as a pre-requisite) and pass the required CCNP exams.

Please note that Associate and Professional level exams do not have to be taken in any particular order, so individuals can take and pass the CCNP exams first and then achieve the CCNA certification or vice versa. However, they will not be certified in CCNP until they fulfill all requirements - Valid pre-requisite + valid required CCNP exams.

For more information about the CCNP requirements visit www.cisco.com/go/ccnp

          Regards,

          Rigo
