Hi All,

Can anyone clear me this doubt..

Say i have an extension 1500 in A_PT parition and also B_PT partition. Two phones are assigned the number 1500 with Phone 1 in A_PT and Phone 2 in B_PT. Which phone will ring when a call comes in for 1500....

I think that is according to CSS (Calling Search Space) which is associated with partation.

if call comes from CSS _A ,the A_pt phone ring

if call comes from CSS_B,the B_pt phone ring

    Yes, it is CSS-based, but...

If calling phone's CSS does not contain A_pt and B_pt, no one phone will ring

If calling phone's CSS contains only one of two partitions - that phone will ring.

If calling phone's CSS contains both partitions, CUCM will select first partition that mentioned in the config. It is true if nothing like ToD roiting is used.
