I passed ICND1 in June 2009. I was going to lose the chance to become CCNA if I didn't pass ICND2 by June 2012. 3 months of hard work paid off for me today. I am so happy. Thank you to a few people on the CLN who helped me, it really is a great resource and Cisco ought to be proud of this fantastic community.
I really don't know what to study next. I fancy CCNA Security as we just bought an ASA 5510 at work and I'd love to know more about it. Possibly looking at CCNP track not sure.
Thanks again from a very cold but happy Edinburgh, Scotland!!!!
Yep, halfway through CCNP ROUTE. In the middle of redistribution high-jinx right now!
I want to do CCNP r&s, perhaps CCIP, while NP is fresh in my mind, then CCDA or CCNA security (probably security). Thats the long-term though, and at my rate it'll take me a while to get there!
Well, it depends on what you know, what you want to know, what you want from your career etc. Its all down to personal choice.
At the moment my real passion is r&s, so thats where I am headed, full steam!
I'll come back round to CCNA security, but right now CCNP is an itch that must get scratched.
Good point. My desire for the CCNA Security is coming from the fact that we just installed a new Cisco ASA 5510 the other week and although it was fully configured by a CCIE chap called Stephen its looking back at me needing some tweaks which at the moment I feel less confident about!
