I have recently passed my CCNA(r&s) . Now i am thinking to continue with the ccna voice. For the starter can anyone kindly suggest me which one is the best self study book?
I checked on the cisco press, found this one http://www.ciscopress.com/bookstore/product.asp?isbn=1587204177
Is it the right one or there is any alternative available.
Thanks in advance.
Thats the book I am going to buy for my cert. I also suggest that you try and build a lab at home, You can get the stuff from ebay. The only problem maybe the software. Also study using CBT nuggets. Google and the learning network are also a great resource.
I have that book and it's perfect to study CCNA Voice.
I bought it on Amazon (cheaper that the bookstores of my country). It explains all the concepts and how to configure them with screenshots of the CUCM or CME in depth.
Jeremy Cioara's book is AWESOME! Be sure to check out his CBT nugget videos. Mark Snow's videos from INE are really awesome as well. INE was having a promotion. I'm not sure if they still are where they had free access to their streaming CCNA Voice bootcamp!
There are some good resources and a great study plan laid out here: http://blog.ine.com/2011/07/29/from-ccna-voice-to-ccie-voice-in-a-year-2/
All the best to you!
