If you are interested in Networking (which I assume), you might best search for an entry level job with a Cisco Integrator. That would give you a lot of room to gain experience. You are really looking for the same job with CCENT or CCNA. The CCNA will just be a bit more credible indication of your dedication to this field of study. HTH.
I was curious. I have a B.S. in Computer Science. And I just got my CCENT, I'm studying for ICND2(CCNA).
What kind of jobs should I be looking for? (What jobs for me with CCENT, and what jobs for me with CCNA)??
You can obvious search the job sites with the obvious keywords "Cisco, CCNA, Network, etc.". However, I think one role to possibly seek out would be a "Data Center Operator" or "Data Surveillance Operator/Associate/Etc". Basically, those are those guys that sit in that semi-dark room with the wall of screens in front of them. They respond to alarms and check things out on a level 1 basis and pass the tougher stuff up the line. Great job to get studying done too as there can be periods of extended uptime depending on the network(s) you are supporting.
Try applying for a position with:
Cisco business partner
NOC/SOC (network operations center/security operations center)
jr network technician
