I am in knowledge that the ICND1 and ICND2 exams are 125USD each. CCNA composite is 150USD. I got charged 289 Euros (Exam fee + VAT) for ICND1 and 320 Euros (Exam fee + VAT). How are these charges calculated? i get the VAT part is expensive as i live in one of the most expensive countries but shine some light on the other charges please. For instance for the ICND1 exam the Exam fee was 260 Euros and the VAT was 60 Euros making up 320 Euros. Quite expensive to say the least. Thanks.

Kind Regards,

    Hi Bit,

that does seem somewhat extortionate! It appears at first glance that Pearson are using a really bad exchange rate to their advantage - added to that the taxation thing and in the end the candidate is expected to pay whatever they ask for - because you have no other choice.

Perhaps it would be worth contacting Pearson here and asking them for a price breakdown?

Same with me pal, ICND1 exam fee is $150 but the local test center charged me Rs.19000 ($190) which is total injustice. The onlie payment system is broken or they have disabled it for pakistan. nothing works in pakistan anyway.

$150 is ok, $190 in no way

prometric test center is best they charge you the exact amount and you can make payment online too.

they gave me receipt for $150 and charged me Rs.19000. conversion rate was $1=Rs107 at that time.
