Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question, but just thought if some one already knows a solution to it.
I have been using GNS3 for my simulation and QEMU host's on my topology.
I face some problem when assigning IP to the QEMU host. when ever I assign IP to the QEMU host, it assumes that it is a classful network and assumes Subnet MAsk based on the class of the network.
Is there a way to assign IP properly with proper subnet mask?
Thanks Alain. It worked..
But I see another problem. when I assign a gateway it gets back to the earlier behavior seen.
I used the following command
ifconfig eth0 18.104.22.168 broadcast 22.214.171.124 netmask 255.255.255.248 126.96.36.199
Am i messing it up on the syntax??
