I have an issue with Called Party Transformations in the route group. I am trying to configure digit manipulation in called transformation party starting from the Route group but however whenever I put *93.! It comes back with an error message saying
Error. “Called Party Transform Mask – allowed characters are numeric (0-9),plus (+),asterisk (*), pound (#),X.”
Route Group Digit manipulation
Called Party Transformations: *93.! I
can't save the above information
Can you please help me to overcome this problem. PreDot should happen in Route Group
the exclamation point is one or many digits which leaves the UCM with no indication where to apply it. Masks are right-justified and that makes a "!" unusable at that point. Pattern do allow these and the discard instruction will work with pattern and not masks.
what is the pipe doing at the end of your pattern?
This patten should work without it.
Check for spaced or any other character you can't see.
Hi Patrick / Steve
Allow me to thank you guy's for yourtime reading my issue, god bless you
I believe you are right I am using "!" and that is unusable. you can only use pattern, *#+. it gets upset if I introduce anything beyond that. *93.! is not the way to do inCalled Transformation party. I will have to come with different approach
The pipe is a mistake the the correct number is *93.!. And this is not working I have checked for spaces I am doing the manipulation at route group from the route list.
I will share my other approach as soon I develop it
you are always welcome. Let us know what you want to accomplish, then we may be better able to help you instead of just telling you where a pattern/mask can be used and that they are not interchangeable in all cases.
