I don not understand that what is TCP/IP.
Why there is \ between TCP & IP.
Please explain me anyone.
Thanks to Alex.
Now i am ok.
IP is a layer 3 protocol (network layer)
TCP is a subset. It's a layer 4 protocol (transport layer)
What is HTH?
Hope This Helps
Thanks for new short term.
Sir, i want to confirm that Are we following OSI LAYER Model or TCP\IP Model in our current network domain?
Layer 3 and Layer 4 is following the OSI model. If we are following the TCP/IP model, we usually refer to the layer names as opposed to numbers. In that case TCP is the Transport layer and IP is the Internet layer.
