    Re: security dumps

If you are talking about actual questions from the exam (the typical definition of dumps), they are actively discouraged on this site and are a violation of the NDA (non-disclosure agreement).  Also, they are just a bad way to achieve certification.

If you are looking for practice questions that are not an NDA violation, that is fine.  I don't have much in the way of freebies to offer.  I'm guessing there may be some in the back of the Cisco Press books by Catherine Paquet or Kevin Wallace (but you should check prior to purchasing).  Also, Boson has Exam-Sim Max fo 640-553.  However, it is $99US. There are also 3 links to questions in the following document--

    https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/community/certifications/security_ccna/iins?tab=3

I've not looked at those questions, so look at the discussion surrounding them as well.  HTH.

The practice questions here on cln are fine.  They are a starting point and memorizing them will not help you pass the exam.  I would use an additional legit practice exam vendor, or save your money and write your own questions.

    Hi tinashe,

If you are referring to braindump material, be advised that the use of braindump material is NOT allowed. The use of such material is considered as cheating and it devalues Cisco certifications.

If you need recommendations or study resources, we recommend that you check out the Study/Learn page for the 640-553 IINS exam on the Cisco Learning Network here.

You may also try the IINS practice/review questions that are available here and take the free Self-Assessment to help supplement your learning experience.

    Re: security dumps

    Hi Remy,

Cisco is aware that such sources(braindumps) exist and is currently tackling this issue to eliminate sources that devaluate the Cisco certification program. Additionally, users can report suspicious activity/websites pertaining to Cisco on the following page http://www.cisco.com/web/about/ac50/ac47/about_cisco_brand_center.html then click on "Report Usage Violations"

We ask that users refrain from suggesting or encouraging the use or search of braindump material.

Not to mention, this is a Security exam! What kind of security pro would it be that was willing to falsify his exam by cheating? If you can do that and then sign a Statement of Ethics such as EC Council has, then I feel sorry for you and hope I never have to trust you for the security of my network.

    Re: security dumps

Well said, Kerry! Tinashe...it might seem like a good idea to pass the exam, but that sort of approach to getting by will come back to haunt you. Learn the material so that when you land a job, you know you can actually do the job!

Please check out the 3 sets of Review Questions here--others have found these quite helpful in determining in what areas they need to focus more study!

Best of luck, Tinashe, in learning the material and in succeeding on the exams.

    Re: security dumps

All i can say is, nobody will know if you use them, but the feeling of passing the difficult Cisco exams honestly through hard work is worth rewriting. Also as many other have said you will just be lying since you may have gotten 100% for the test but you actually still failed it since youll never know if you really know your stuff

Be a man do it honestly. (oh and by the way when i registered with cisco there was some mention that you could get banned for using dump for life from any cisco stuff

    )

Oh yea and there are many example questions on cisco`s website just go look for them if you wana see what youre up against
