Hi ,

Sday we were facing a issue in which the routes learned via OSPF gets disappeared for a while and comes back. Some times it get vanished both form routing and database table and some time form routing table alone.

HTAINCHN21XXXCR002#sh ip route 160.109.98.44

% Subnet not in table

HTAINCHN21XXXCR002#sh ip os da | in 160.109.98.44

160.109.98.44   10.108.34.4     1947        0x80001888 0x009BAE 0

HTAINCHN21XXXCR002#sh ip os da | in 160.109.98.44

160.109.98.44   10.108.34.4     1952        0x80001888 0x009BAE 0

HTAINCHN21XXXCR002#sh ip route 160.109.98.44

Routing entry for 160.109.98.44/32

Known via "ospf 1", distance 110, metric 5, type extern 2, forward metric 3

Last update from 10.254.21.121 on GigabitEthernet1/23, 00:00:03 ago

  Routing Descriptor Blocks:

    10.254.21.121, from 10.108.34.4, 00:00:03 ago, via GigabitEthernet1/23

Route metric is 5, traffic share count is 1

  * 10.254.21.73, from 10.108.34.4, 00:00:03 ago, via GigabitEthernet1/48

Route metric is 5, traffic share count is 1

We have cleared the process and it got restored. however i dont get the rootcause for the same. some of my observation are almost 8000+ LSA are avilable in my ospf DB.

Also there is no flap in the neighbor state also no issue with the circuit.

Thanks

Kamal
