Anyone out there up for studying for IAUWS? Just got the quick ref guide and will be starting shortly.
Have you already tested? I am just starting, but I do wireless as a part of the job and don't anticipate too much difficulty with this exam. The hardest part is going to find time to review and time to actually sit and take the test.
Hi Jared, wish you the best of luck with IAUWS. I've finally scheduled the test for next month. Have you taken the IAUWS class? I took the class almost a year ago and have been studying the materials off and on, but now its time to get serious. Does the quick ref guide seem to be a good resource? It sounds good according to billpremo, think I'm going to check it out.
Hi Andrew, I have been through the quick refence guide and a security design gude. Good stuff in both resources and if you use both, I think it should be enough to pass the exam. Luckily, I do wireless security as part of the job so I am very familiar with most of the topics on this course, its looking for the "Cisco" answers that I am not so good at
Things have really been nuts with work so the studying has slowed down a bit. My goal was to have this done next month as well, but life is getting in the way. I have not had the offical class, but I did take a IAUWS workshop at CiscoLive from Jerome Henry. So that was very enlightening.
I am about to start studying for the IAUWS which for me is the final module for my CCNP, I am trying to find material for it & have downloaded the 642- 737, can anyone else recommend any other books? I am doing a course next year & have been told about
book, has anybody else come across this book & what do you think about it?
Do you have the exact link for the wireless security desigin guide, I have had a lokk & there are quite a few on there, I am on the IAUWS Course at the end of the month & want to take my exam by end of March then I will be CCNP!!
How I would suggest you approach this isto use the quick refernce guide and expand on those areas you are not as familiar with. When I did it I spent a great deal of time studying the NAC guide to understand the designs. ut I think this is the est overall document
