In reviewing the Private VLAN information I came to some text in the FLG that states:
"Use isolated Private VLAN trunk ports when you anticipate the use of Private VLAN isolated host ports to carry multiple VLANs, either normal VLANs or for multiple Private VLAN domains.
First, how can a host port of any kind carry multiple vlans?
What is meant be multiple Private VLAN domains? Is this defined by each primary vlan designated within the overall Layer 2 Domain?
I have seen examples where PVLAN trunks were used.
I have seen examples where normal trunks with all allowed (or only the actual PVLANs + VLANs) were used.
Is there a best practice ?
