Maybe I am missing soemthing.
I started a post earlier today that Brian was kind enough to answer and cannot see how to score it?
I have satrted thius post and will look later to see if I can indeed score this post however some posts have 1 Correct Answer available (4 pts) showing.
You need to mark your thread as a question, when you create it. That is how you grant points to people. You can go back to a thread for up to 15 minutes after you create it, to mark it as a question. After that, it's just a discussion.
Once you mark it was a question it will become obvious to you how to actually award the points.
Wassim, you can only mark a disscussion as question if you start the discussion, and then there are options both during creation and for 15 minutes after you create it, to mark it as a question. They are pretty obvious during both steps IMHO.
However, the key is, you can only do it when you start a discussion yourself. You cannot mark someone elses' discussion as a question.
As Travis has stated above, users have the option to mark their discussion thread as a “Question” upon creating it. This option is available above the text box when starting a new discussion. When this feature is activated, the thread owner has the option to mark the response as a “Helpful Answer” or “Correct Answer.” The question status will be shown near the top of the page, above the discussion title.
Hope this helps.
