My question is that how can we calculate Routing & Switching Capacity of the L3 Switches/Routers.is there any specific formula for the same ?
Cisco traditionally provides capacity in their product documentation and marketing materials, similar to the following:
Field-upgradeable motherboard, circuit-speed WAN performance up to 350 Mbps with services such as security, mobility, WAN optimization, unified communications, video, and customized applications.
Thanks Keith , is there any other way to calculate this other than product documentation & stuffs.
Ask a Cisco SE?
If you're asking whether there is anything in the devices name/number to indicate throughput, the answer is no.
Scott, as usual is right, and entertaining.
