You can watch the whole new CCNA video course from INE for free until the end of 2011. That's over 23 hours of video!
I appreciate you taking the time to put this together for the benefit of everyone - once I come across material to complete yours I will definitely share, like the Good Word says: It's better to give than receive,
This is really a great resource everything I've been looking for in CCNA but I need one more clarification on the CCNA exam. Is the ICND1 and ICND2 a combined exam you'll take once? Just like the CompTIA Network Plus exams? Or Is it a separate exams like the CompTIA A plus exams where you've to take 2 separate exams before you are comptia A+ certified? Please help me. I'm planning to start training for the CCNA. Thanks in advance.
There are two ways to get the CCNA. There are two separate exams ICND1 and ICND2 (CCENT1 and CCENT2) which are usually $125 each. You need both to become CCNA.
There is also a CCNA composite exam 640-802 which is one exam that usually costs $250. Passing this exam will also certify you as CCNA. It is your choice whether to take separate exams or the composite. It has been discussed on this forum many times. Some prefer the two exams, others prefer to take one. I took the composite exam. The cost is the same either way. Unless you fail of course. Failing an ICND1 or 2 exam is cheaper than failing the composite. But there are also about twice as many questions when taking the two exams. If you feel pretty strong on the material I'd say take the composite.
there is a ton of ccna stuff at my site http://insearchofthecert.blogspot.com... it covers my journey to ccna and now into ccnp... all free, no advertising, and lots of real world examples from my home lab... enjoy...
