While I've been networking for a while, I'm still quite new to the voice side of things. It's finally time to learn!
To start with, I'm trying to understand CUBE vs CME.
I've moved into a role that will eventually involve me taking over some of the voice networking, which was set up a few years ago by a third party.
I've been told that we have CUBE routers, but when I log on to them, I find that they're missing the mode border-element statement.
Does this mean that this is CME, not CUBE? Is it still a Session Border Controller if this is the case?
(Sorry, I'm still working through the different terms and components in a voice system)
