Hello Fabio--you will need to know QoS for the written exam. I would recommend that you learn/refresh your memory on high-level QoS theory and configuration, especially on the platforms that are covered by the exam. More information than that is generally not allowed by the NDA, I think.
But generally speaking, the written exam is multiple choice with one or more expected answers covering all of the topics on the blueprint. There is only one topic on the written that is not covered in the lab (IoT) and there are no topics that are on the lab exam that aren't covered by the written.
Best of luck! MM
thanks for your reply; my doubt is related to level of learning, as you know the QoS topics are very complex and require a lot of expirience in order to manage and understad in depht (for example in other certification path there is a dedicated exam only focused on QoS). I would like to know which is the level of knoledgement for this topic. My current idea is:
- Basic knoledgement of the theory (QoS chain: classification-policing-marking-queuing-shaping)
- Marking models (ToS,CoS and DSCP)
- Understood MQC paradigm (based on the three construct class-map/table-map/policy-map)
It's enought ?
if anyone had the same doubts as me, you can find below some links useful (and i hope they will be enought ):
