      Please help me to understand the below statements 1 and 2 ,

       

       

       

      1) route-map test_OUT deny 10535

       

       

       

      2 ) route-map test_IN deny 10

      match ip address prefix-list def_route

       

       

       

       

      ip prefix-list def_route seq 10 permit 0.0.0.0/0

          The first one is explicit deny and would likely go in as the bottom stanza of a route-map although it doesn't have to.  There's an implicit deny at the bottom.  Basically, there is no matching logic so the net effect of that is that everything matches

           

          The second one pairs the route-map stanza with a prefix-list and the prefix-list is just matches a single prefix which is the default (0.0.0.0/0).  Basically the 2nd route map denies the default because the match statement matches the default and the stanza denies what is matched.
