If you are referring to this:
Flexible Bundle for Configuration Assessments (360-RSW-05-CA-FLEX) - 4-pack option
Allows students to select any 4 Configuration Assessment Labs from new or previously performed labs.
A choice of 4 Configuration Assessment Labs out of 15 available
Then it means you can choose them one at a time, and do the same one twice, if you want. i.e. you do not have to decide which 4 when you purchase the product.
I have used Cisco Expert-Level Training products for CCIE R&S and highly recommend them.
It includes 4 labs, you choose from those listed. Each lab is 6 hours long.
I don't know what you mean by 'only use it twice'.
It expires after 195 days or when you've done your 4 labs, whichever is first.
Thank you JH,
I am referring to "and do the same one twice, if you want." --> i take for granted you can repeat the labs as many times as you want within the 195 days but perhaps there are some restrictions specific to Cisco products where labs are available only for a preedetermined amount of time?
It means if you take lab 5, you can then take lab 5 again, if that's your thing.
You cannot just repeat the labs as much as you want, you get hours. As I said, each one is six hours.
You should never take anything for granted.
It works like this:
1. You login to Cisco360, choose your lab start time and book it
2. You connect to Cisco VPN to access the lab
3. Time is ticking (6 hours)
4. You complete the tasks
5. You have used 6 hours
N.B. On some products (not sure if all, I haven't used them all, but I think probably not on the Assessment lab you are talking about) you can save the configs/progress, log out and get remaining hours returned back to you, which you can then schedule again. So you can start do 2 hours, stop, 2 hours, stop, 2 hours. So you can continue where you left off.
6. Outside of the times you've booked, you cannot access the lab.
As I said, it works pretty well. If I were you I'd get the Advanced Mini Bundle, which is now $499.
this is where I am coming from (INE Labs): you buy the bundle and you get all the labs. Then if you finish the hours (for the rack rental) you just buy a new amount of hours and you can repeat the labs as many times as you want (just buy additional hours).
What I dont get here, is what happens after you finished the 6 hours. Your 1 of 4 labs is gone and you can only proceed with the other 3 or, say, you can repeat the lab you have just completed over and over until you are happy to move on to the next one of the 4?
Many thanks again for your patience,
see it like you have 6x4=24 hours of lab time then
you have 4 labs, you can do lab 5, lab 5 again (but that counts as 2 or your 4, in other words 12 of your 24 hours)
you cannot just do lab 5 over and over and over - there's a flaw in that idea i.e. you do it, you give me the login, i do, then i pass it to someone and on and on for 195 days
hope that makes sense
The end result is pretty much same though, by that I mean you pay some money and you get some lab time. Basically, with that particular Cisco360 product you pay $299 for 24 hours of lab time and you get to do 4 assessments (so it's directed time, let's say).
You can purchase the same product again, or you can buy a 100 hours of rack rental to use as you want (i.e. without the assessments):
I believe if you bought, say, the Advanced Mini Bundle and your hours expired but your 195 days hadn't, you could just buy additional rack hours.
