I have put in lxc and a server and have tried to login to them after making sure the auto config was set up?
Is there some trick to logging in? I have tried user/pwd: cisco/cisco and guest/guest.. none of them work?
cisco/cisco is the default creds for these containers. how are you accessing it?
I have run into an issue like this before and had to refresh the maestro client's node subtype inventory.
File/Prefs/Node Subtypes/Restore Defs/Apply/Fetch from Server/Apply/OK.
I am trying to access it from vnc and telnet...
I ran autonetkit against your sim and re-launched, cisco/cisco creds work on both server-1 and the linux container.
Server node log in keeps popping up. No Eth1 for the interface. Won't save the configuration. I refreshed the list and saved. Posted about it. Alejo has been notified by Karlo to look at it.
The ask on your post was for container and linux server credentials use. Aside from the new/unrelated issue above are the user creds working after running autonetconfig?
I was going to try allowing it to autoconfigure to see if Linux Servers worked better.
What do you mean, if the "linux servers" worked better? Topic for a new post, otherwise we'd appreciate it if the thread was marked answered regarding credentials.
I can add the Eth1 port manually. Save the simulation. When I restart it, it is gone. I have not had time to play with the autonet configuration. I am taking my CompTIA Linux+ exam on Saturday.
