I recently got offered some training courses one of them being Implementing Cisco Data Center Unified Computing. We are doing it for Gold Partner status and I was eyeing up the Data Center track already but was curious if I need to take my CCNA Data Center before taking this course to get credit for the test.
It's not necessary to complete the CCNA Data Center certification first to test for an exam from the CCNP Data Center track. The Associate and Professional level exams can be completed in any order that is convenient for you, so it's possible to take the 300-175 DCUCI exam without CCNA Data Center. However a valid CCNA Data Center (pre-requisite) is required to officially become certified in CCNP Data Center.
