    Working on redistribute bgp 1000 metric 100 1 255 1 1500.  What does it mean

      I found this an example on the internet.  I am trying to figure out what it means?  BGP 1000 is my AS.   Why would you change the default metrics of EIGRP to redistribute bgp 1000 metric 100 1 255 1 1500?
