I have some misunderstanding about default route. Is default route have any administrative distance?
And access to the internet where i must configure default route and static route (two router to ISP, routers attached via serial)
the administrative distance of a default route is 1 as it is seen as a static route if I remember correct. Here is a website where all administrative distances or better most of them are listed:
About the second part of your question I do not know what is exactly your goal?
Thanks Bjoern for the first question.
I cann't remember second question exactly. But i remember that there was two routers to the internet and it asked configure routes. And anwers were one static and one default. But i forget which one was static and default.
If i find this question again i'll post.
You can have multiple default routes. You have default routes with different AD. When the lower AD drops out the next one steps forward.
I found that question. Refer to the attached pic.
What routing configurations are recommended on both R1 and ISP routers? And why?
