I am the exam manager for the Cloud certification tracks and I can tell you that Cisco will be addressing the product changes for Cisco Intercloud Fabric. The exams and training material will be updated to include Cisco Cloud Center, instead of Intercloud Fabric.
Reach out if you have any questions,
I was just about o pursue my CCNA Cloud certification and was just about to take the below e-learning courses.
Understanding Cisco Cloud Fundamantals 210-451 CLDFND
Understanding Cisco Cloud Administration 210-455 CLDADM
Is CCNA Cloud still a vaild cert to pursue and more importantly, are these still the best available courses to help with the exam. I don't want to waste thousands of dollars on courses that are no longer relevant. The previous question from Mohammad gives me concern.
Is there going to be a big change on the material? I mean shall we expect a version 2 exam guide that will make version 1 obsolete or just some updates on the existing guide? I'm assuming that only the below exam topic will be replaced on the first book?
2.2 Describe the Components of the Cisco Intercloud Solution
- 2.2.a Describe the benefits of Cisco Intercloud
- 2.2.b Describe Cisco Intercloud Fabric Services
I just took Understanding Cisco Cloud Fundamentals 210-451 CLDFND and not only did i love the course, but i considered it to be really relevant to the exam topics and blueprints (with the exception of ICFB.) If you are looking to be prepped for CCNA Certification, I would recommend the course, taking advantage of the Labs and taking on some practice exams.
Reach out if you have any more questions,
The changes will be minor. The existing guide/blueprint is still valid. We will be however focusing the questions on the valid products and software. It is safe to assume, that if a product is no longer active, you will not see it on any of the tests. In this case, Cisco Intercloud Fabric is a dead product, and will not be included in any of the tests.
Hope this helps
Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Anderson and all,
As Deneb stated in her message, the changes should be minor. So the existing blueprint and exam topics are still valid.
Also, if there where major changes coming, then any changes coming for the CCNA Cloud certification would be first informed by Cisco thru
an update here: CCNA Cloud - Cisco
As you can all see and read, in the link above, so far there is no dates of exams that will be updated or ending for the CCNA Cloud track.
Furthermore, please allow me to share with all of you the following blog published this year in February bythe Certs and Labs Team regarding the Cloud Certification track: Take the Leap - Grow Your Skills with the CCNP Cloud Certification
I just started studying for the cloud fund course (using cisco's self paced e-learning) and just made it to intercloud.
Seems this is still on the exam according to the blueprint as of today.
As far as practical application should I just take into to acct the issues associated with a hybrid cloud etc?
Is there something I can study in it's place?
