How can i achieve load balancing on two dual links so that i avoid having a redundant link that does not have traffic going through it?
Depends what links they are. Are they links throughout the internet?
Or are they links between two core switches? Or between an Core and Distribution/Access layer? Or perhaps between two routers?
There are many solutions, they depend on the devices and the functions of the devices.
they are two p2p links between two 1941 routers
If you use any dynamic routing protocols. You could choose to configure (un)equal cost load balancing.
If you use static routing. You could configure de various subnets to different links on the routers.
I would imagine the the links between the two routers are the same speed. If that's the case you wouldn't need to configure unequal cost load balancing. Setup an IGP like OSPF and it would immediately start load balancing between the connections.
