AFAIK, you have a 6-month window to complete things. Beyond that, I have no idea whether there are "extension plans" or whether you need to repurchase them.
Just a quick followup please. There are many CCIE offerings out there to select from including the 360. How do you like the cost vs. value of the Cisco 360 program and what level of engagement did you select? i.e. Essentials only remote package, Preferred 360 with eleven Performance Assessments, or the full Premium 360 package?
Thanks in Advance,
I am using the preferred package with the 11 assessments. I am doing all self-study. I push myself very hard to learn the material and do not have the time or money to go to a bootcamp even though I would like to.
I have never used another product for studying so I can not compare honestly. I have seen INE's workbooks, but have not actually reviewed them fully. I do hear good things about INE though.
The 360 Workbook, and any 360 product/service through Cisco LMS is available for up to 1 year:
Your program duration can last up to one year, and as far as I know, all Learning Partners are (or should be) offering 1 year packages. As Cisco 360 Learning Program is Cisco recommended approach to CCIE R&S Practical Lab study, you should do your due diligence to make sure you are receiving the best value for your invesment. You'll find that some Training Companies are offering 360 Learning Program incentives to accomplish this. I know of one in particular that is offering all their Cisco Authorized Trainings/Products not listed on the 360 Learning Program, as free value adds to certain 360 Learning Program packages, in order to deliver more training manuals and instructor-led course time to CCIE R&S candidates....;-)
Hope This Helps...
That's all really good information.
I've been a Cisco 360 student for about 1.5 months. I don't have the exercise workbook yet. But short of the assessment labs, all of the material is downloadable. It just needs secure access. You can save the HTML reference library to file or print it as well.
I don't print out much except for the practice labs. I take notes and write on them.
