I would also be interested in this - i am stuck in a particular part of the 250 token demo, and have no-way to turn for help, im unsure if its a bug etc not really selling itself at the moment without any help/online guides/resources..other than that its a fantastic product and would be interested in buying if only there was some help.
Hi Andrew and Anthony,
We are sorry to hear of the issue that you have experienced with your Cisco Aspire CCNA game.
You will be contacted directly by the Certification & Communities Online Support team for further assistance regarding your specific issues/concerns.
Cisco Learning Network Moderator
At this point, we can provide you with some generic questions you might want to consider:
- For the default route, did you configure it to use the correct exit interface?
- For RIPv2, did you configure the correct passive interfaces?
- If so, then what method did you use for redistributing the default route?
- If you configured a network 0.0.0.0, you might want to try a simpler, more elegant solution.
If those questions don't solve your problem, please provide the exact task that won't turn greeen for you. Maybe we can provide more directed questions. However, we are not providing walkthroughs for the game at this time.
Thank you for buying Aspire and best of luck in your studies,
The Aspire Support Team
I am also stuck within the school network. The "configure RIP version 2 on router 2" task won't turn green. I have in fact configured RIP version 2 on router 2. I also entered the command "redistribute static" in order to redistribute the default route to router 1 and 3. Here are some displays:
Gateway of last resort is 0.0.0.0 to network 0.0.0.0

I can't get the last 2 task in the metro ethernet sim to turn green. I have configured rip on both R2 and R3. I have redistributed the static with the default info originate.
This is from router 2:
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Serial0/1/0
This is from router 3:
Has this ever been answered/solved? I have the same setup as Andrew, but can't get these two tasks checked off.
The only difference is I did not advertise the 209.xxx.xxx.xxx network on R2. I however have the same default route set with "ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 serial 0/1/0" and the default information orginate.
When I check R1 and R3, it says that they are getting RIP messages from 10.1.1.2 so not sure what the heck is going on...? Any help would be great .
Are we suppose to use ip default-network to set the static route?
No worries Kryz . We've all been there, banging our head against the wall trying to figure out why the **** it won't work, and finally realizing it's a single character stopping us in our tracks . LOL.
Now, if you get to the school level, and are able to figure out how to solve the last two tasks (setting RipV2 on R2 and having it broadcast the default route to the other routers), let me and Andrew know! Cause I swear I've got it right, but it's not letting me through!
