Just a related quesiton I would like some advice on my current study plan if any of you have time to share.
Currently in the final part of my preparation I am doing the following;
Going over my ICND2 Cert Guide notes (Wendell)
Taking quizes from Wendells Book
Going over my ICND1 notes (unsure of this)
Going over lists of commands
Practicing CLN in Boson
Revising show commands from ICND1 and ICND2
I appreciate any thoughts or input regarding this plan as I created this routine myself and I have avoided some tasks others have used to prepare for the exams (doing large amount of practice tests etc).
show commands for CCNA; (from my memory so might be off a bit)
sh frame-relay map
sh frame-relay pvc
sh ip interface x/y/z
sh ip int brief
sh interface Fa x/y
sh controllers serial (to see who is DCI or DTE)
sh ip route
sh ip protocols
sh ip arp
sh ip nat
sh ip <protocols>
sh ip ospf <several options here>
sh ip ospf neighbor
sh ip ospf database
sh ip ospf interface
sh ip eigrp topology
sh ip eigrp neighbor or interface
sh spanning tree (lots of options here)
sh interfaces trunk or switchport
This is a pretty good list Brian, I will double check the commands listed and add the relevant variants for the ones with many additional fields. I think you have categorised them quite well off the top of your head which is something I was having issues doing since some commands are useful in multiple situations.
I aim to use this as my starting point.
Thank-you and, I will mark this as answered as soon as my browser stops messing around.
