Register for Exams

The CCDE practical exam is only available at Pearson Professional Centers (PPC) testing facilities designed for secure testing of high-level professional exams. More information on the centers is available at www.pearsonvue.com/ppc.

 

CCDE practical exams are administered three or four times a year at all PPC locations worldwide.Registration for exams taken at PPC facilities is handled separately from other Pearson VUE exams and is done for a specific location. Check the detailed information below for upcoming exam dates.

  • Seats are reserved for CCDE practical exam candidates only
  • CCDE practical exam candidates can reserve seats prior to any other exam candidates

  • CCDE practical exam unreserved rooms and seats are released
  • CCDE practical exam candidates can register for the exam and reserve any available seat

45 Days prior to  Test Day*

CCDE practical exam candidates can register for the exam and reserve any available seat

  • CCDE practical exam candidates can register for the exam and reserve any available seat
  • PPCs that generally have less than nine hours of operation AND don't have any CCDE practical exam candidates registered for an exam may reduce their hours on the CCDE practical exam event dates
  • PPC sites that reduce event date hours will not be able to accommodate CCDE practical exam candidates from this point onwards

**If you attempt to register the day before the Test Day, the facility would ONLY be available if other CCDE practical exam candidates have previously registered.

 

 

Exam Cost:$1,500 USD (Please review cancellation policy below.)
Prerequisite:Candidate must have passed the CCDE written exam prior to registering for the Practical Exam.

Registration Steps:

1) Gather your information as listed below

2) Select a location — you will need to login to Pearson VUE

3) Select the CCDE Practical Exam (352-011) from the list on the Pearson VUE website

4) Select the appropriate month and day (Month Day, Year)

5) Submit payment

6) Once registration has been accepted, confirmation will be emailed to you within two business days

 

Gather personal information prior to exam registration

- Legal name (from government issued ID)

- Cisco Certification ID (i.e. CSCO00000001) or Test ID number

- Company name

- Valid email address

- Method of payment

 

  • Cisco Certification ID: If you have ever taken a Cisco exam before please locate your Cisco Certification ID (i.e. CSCO00000001) before continuing with your registration to avoid duplicate records and delays in receiving proper credit for your exams.
  • Communication: A valid email is required during exam registration. Cisco requires a valid email to send email reminders when a candidate's certification is about to expire, confirm the mailing address before shipping out the certificate and to inform candidates if their certificate was returned due to an incorrect address.
  • Prerequisite: If you have not passed the CCDE Written Exam, which is a prerequisite for the CCDE Practical Exam, your registration will be canceled and your fee refunded.
  • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration up to 30 days before the exam date. After this date, your exam fee is forfeited in full.

Retaking CCDE Practical Exams

  • Candidates may  only take a beta exam once.
  • Candidates who do  not pass the CCDE practical exam can retake it during the next scheduled exam  administration.
  • Candidates must  reattempt the exam within 12 months of their last scored attempt in order for  their CCDE written exam to remain valid.
  • If a candidate  does not pass the practical exam within three years of passing the CCDE written  exam, he or she must retake the written exam before being allowed to attempt  the practical exam again.
  • Candidates who  violate these policies are violating the agreement. Such conduct is strictly  prohibited as described in the Cisco Candidate Conduct Policy.
