CCDE Practical Exam Demonstration:

The following is a sample of the CCDE Practical Exam. This demonstration was built with the same tools used to create the actual CCDE Practical Exam. However, the demo is much shorter; it includes just enough questions to illustrate the environment and tools available to the candidate. The scenario presented in the demo is not a real exam scenario and the score is not representative of the score a candidate will receive on the exam.

In the sample scenario, a theme-park operator needs to add network connectivity for vendors located within the concession venues of the park. The demo provides a general statement of initial functionality requirements. Additional requirements are delivered via written documentation, email, network diagrams, and other tools as the scenario progresses. The candidate will need to identify the network requirements, gather the needed information, perform a design analysis, and make design recommendations in the form of diagrams, ordered lists, implementation checklists, and other response types. All information needed to complete the sample scenario is provided within the demo.

Note: You may need to adjust your monitor resolution. The demo is available in the three resolutions listed below. In addition, the demo is best viewed in full-screen mode on your browser with menu and status bars hidden. The demo works best in IE version 5 or above and you may also need to disable your pop-up blocker.
