"As a Communication  Systems Engineer, Cisco certifications help me by providing me with practical  skills & knowledge Ineed to advance in my career path faster than the average  engineer, to be more professional and aware of technology standards, and reach  jobs with respected salaries!

I first thought that  Cisco certifications--CCNA for example--were all about Networks only, but  during my study I discovered that IT IS A MUST for all communication students,  whether you are intending to be Mobile Communications Engineer, Networks  Engineer, or any other branches like Security, VOIP, Design, etc.

I found that Cisco  Certifications cover all these fields, and such certifications are the way to  become professional and expert in your field, and get involved in learning  materials that provide you with that much knowledge, side-by-side with hands-on  implementing in labs on Industry-level systems and devices!

For me, I am interested  in VOIP & Security. I like both branches & found in Cisco  Certifications what can help me & guide me throughout my career pathway  with all I need to excel in these branches and become on top of my  competitors."

"I started my  career into networking with CCNA. Once I was done with CCNA, I found Cisco has  various domains to offer like VOICE, Network SECURITY in all forms--associate  to professional to expert level. I found interest toward Security, and went on  to this track. I am currently CCSP and looking forward to expert level CCIE.  CISCO certifications are highly recognized in the IT Industry. In terms of  networking, Cisco is the leader. I am proud to be a Cisco Certified  professional. Cisco certification has made me achieve in my career and what I  am today. Cisco has a lot more to give to my career in the near future I hope.  Currently I work for a Cisco Gold Partner Company as Senior Security  Engineer!"

"Cisco  Certification gave me a strong foundation for my networking career. It  made me recognize my skills & gave me more confidence on my job. Now  being Cisco certified, I have more clarity & confidence on what I am doing  in my daily work. I started CCNA & now I am a CCNP. The best part is that  Cisco certifications concentrate more on the core technology &  concepts rather than giving more importance to their products. They also keep  updating the certifications with the current technology & requirements. If  we really follow the materials of Cisco Press & cisco.com, we can  easily understand the technology & will have a great future."

"The benefits of  being Cisco certified are that you are professionally and technically  sound in almost every aspect of Cisco equipment. The certifications  are tricky and require you (to) completely understand Cisco and networking  in general. Not surprising there aren't many out there. With all of that  though, you'll probably never have to look for a job and you'll be paid  top dollar for what you know."

    EXPERT

"Way back in May  2007 when I started my job as (an) IT Recruiter, doing recruitment for IT  Companies...I (had) never wanted to  get into (a) technical line, but after working a year in recruitment I heard  about Cisco and how big and cool (the) technologies are that it’s related to

I thought I should  learn technical, I started searching on internet about how to  start. Someone told me that CCNA is the stepping stone, so I started reading, studying through Cisco  Website and Cisco press books. After 3 months of extensive study, I passed my CCNA,  scoring pretty well. That was the biggest turning point of my life, holding  that Cisco CCNA certification. I got my first job; after working for few  months I thought I should move ahead so I went on to study CCNP  & CCIP. I was loving this Cisco technology.

Soon after this studying  for almost 8-9 months, I passed my CCIE SP Written exam. I got a good position  in one of the bigger companies...so not stopping on my  technology hunger, I re-studied really well and went on to crack a position  with leading MNC dealing with Mobile Networks for a Network Designer position. Here is where I work now  where I look after end-to-end IP solutions designing for top telecom players.

So here's my story how  Cisco & Cisco Certifications helped me. With lots of technology hunger and  learning in less than 2 years, I am working for biggest MNC in a very good  position. Love you Cisco."

As a  CCNP/CCDP for the past 10 years, I have never had to worry about getting  interviews and landing great jobs in the Network Engineering/Architecture  career! Not to mention portability. The certifications give companies assurance  that as a candidate, I KNOW MY STUFF. Whatever industry! Thanks Cisco!"

Distant  and close relations know that Cisco certifications have provided stability for  myself and family. I strive to achieve in this arena and appreciate any  opportunity to help with this massive expense taken on - in large part - out of  my pocket."
