I have discovered that there are two types of command interfaces in the world of computing: good interfaces and user interfaces. - Daniel J Bernstein
Ease of use and the ability for members to quickly find what they are looking for is important to us here on the Cisco Learning Network. We currently have a variety of efforts underway to improve your overall experience and, starting with the launch of our new Data Center certification tracks, we are beta testing some new ideas. I will detail these new changes below, but what is truly important is your feedback! Our plan is to gradually apply the new design structure to all the study groups, so we hope to gain some valuable feedback from you before proceeding down that path.
First, in an effort to better organize our discussion threads and the "Overview" tab, we have worked to create category titles within the Data Center Study Groups. These category titles closely follow the exam topics for the Data Center tracks and are then further organized on the Overview tab using the PPDIOO model. These features are intended to provide structure and context to the layout of the page.
Our hope is that this will help you better find the information you're looking for. Have a question about Exam Scheduling? Check the "General" Category. Struggling with Unified Fabric as it relates to Cisco Data Centers? There's a category for that too! At first glance, when clicking on a category, you might not see much, if any, content. But over time, as the threads fill out, this structure will help you filter down content to what is relative to you.
Feedback please! As I stated above, our goal is to continue to make the Cisco Learning Network easier for you to use. We believe the new design of the overview tabs and the implementation of the categories will help. Now we'd like to hear from you. Do you like the new design? Are the categories helpful? Any suggestions? Sound off in the comments and we'll listen!
Thank you very much and enjoy both the new Cisco Data Center Certifications and the new design of our Study Groups areas!
